Karen has lived in Lowell for most of her life. From the time she was little she has always wanted to care for animals. Karen attended Michigan State University and graduated in 1998 with a bachelors of science in veterinary technology. She has worked as a licensed veterinary technician for most of her career.
While attending college, she worked at an animal emergency hospital. Upon graduating, she was dedicated to a previous practice in the Grand Rapids area where she spent most of her time developing herself as a training coordinator and moving into leadership roles.
